Sahaflardan toplanmış 30 kitabın, en açıktan en koyuya doğru yerleşimi.
Zamanla adlı bu çalışmada kitabın zamanı, sayfalarının rengiyle temsil edilir. Şimdiki zamana en yakın kitap en açık renkteyken, bugünden uzaklaştıkça kitaplar koyulaşır; en koyu renk, en eski zamanı gösterir. Otuz farklı anı temsil eden bu kitapların yer aldığı raf, tek bir bakış anı içinde geçen bir zaman aralığına denk gelir.
Zamanla işinde yer alan kitaplar, altı yıl aradan sonra değişen renkleri nedeniyle yerleri değiştirilerek, Yapıt Kitap Sergisi için açıktan koyuya doğru yeniden dizildi. 2019 yılından 2025 yılına kadar geçen bu sürede, kitap sayfalarının renk değişiminin yalnızca kitabın basılma zamanıyla ilgili olmadığı, kâğıdın cinsiyle de ilişkili olduğu görüldü.

IN TIME
The arrangement of 30 books collected from second-hand bookstores, ordered from light to dark.
In the work titled “In Time”, the passage of time is shown through the color of the book pages. The book closest to the present is the lightest in color. As the books move further away from today, their pages become darker, with the darkest book representing the earliest time. Placed on a shelf, these books—each standing for a different moment—can be read as a stretch of time seen in a single glance.
For “Book-As-Work” exhibition, the books in In Time were rearranged from light to dark by changing their positions, following the changes in their colors over six years. Between 2019 and 2025, it became clear that the color of the pages changes not only with time, but also depending on the type of paper.
